  I opened bottega March of 2009. I have spent a decade in this industry. I am a real "hair dork," and have flown coast to coast to attend shows, seminars and trainings of all sorts. I love a scenic way of life and believe in artful living. keeping a good mix of progress, and past.

  5 Years in the hair industry, specializing in dry styling and Keratin treatments. 
  I have been with Bottega since it came to be in March '09. After working under owner, Jenn Borneman, and taking part in several advanced trainings nationwide I have landed at Bottega in downtown Raleigh where I work full-time as a hair artist. I'm also found traveling the state as a network educator for Kevin Murphy Haircare.

  I have been with bottega since June of 2010. My four year journey has brought me here and there is nowhere else I'd rather be. I love cutting and coloring "day to day" hair. But, what really excites me is change. If it's time for something new, I love getting to come up with a fresh style.

  Hello, I'm Mary-Taylor! As a kid, I couldn't keep my hands off of the scissors and always felt that the manufacturer had no idea what looked best on my dolls. As an adult, I've fine tuned this passion and it shows in the looks I create for my guests! Ensuring that every color and cut is customized to work with your lifestyle, face shape, and personal style is my specialty. I value the importance of passing along my knowledge to you so that you look like you've just left the salon every morning. Having been in the industry for several years, I have gathered experience and knowledge from many sources and continue to build my education on a daily basis as a proud member of the Bottega team.

  I have been in love with hair for as long as I can remember. Hair being my first love, I have been on a never ending quest for years, interested in perfecting my craft and becoming the best Stylist that I can be. I joined the Bottega family in April of 2011 and consider myself lucky to be part of such a talented team. My only goal, from the moment you sit in my chair, is to make you feel beautiful.
  I am also the proud owner of the worlds smartest and most amazing Chocolate Labrador; Lindor. Together, she and I plan to take over the world!

  Hello!!!  I am Micah givens. Originally from St. Louis Mo I am now happy to call Raleigh NC home. I couldn't ask for a better place to live. There is something to be said about southern hospitality. I truly love it here and feel quite at home!!! I have been working at Bottega Hair Studio for about eight months now. I have truly fallen in love with the concept and the people I get to work with. Bottega is a place where personalities are allowed to shine. Where being an individual is in fact encouraged.  What more can one ask for? 
  I have spent the last seven years in the industry and finally feel as if I have found my landing place. Bottega is a education based salon where we are encouraged to expand on our current knowledge by in house classes offered by Goldwell, Kevin Murphy, Davanes and many more. We also are provided with amazing continuing education through Goldwell academy in Baltimore.  Not only is the education amazing but this Is the first salon I have been involved in where the environment is taken into account. All of our product lines are very Eco friendly and proactive in reducing our carbon footprint!  It is the little thing that tend to add up and count. We at Bottega intend to make a difference one client at a time. I can't wait to see you and share with you what Bottega has shared with me!!!

  I began with a love for makeup and finishing hair, and a love for art and beauty. I have to say I am proud of who I became; a confident, well designed hairstylist. I attended Hatfields Cosmotology School and numerous color, cutting, and styling classes. Including Paul Mitchell, Goldwell, Daviness and Kevin Murphy. I have been lucky enough to work with some amazing talents in this industry as an assistant, and now as a hairstylist at bottega. I have been given a greater knowledge and a sharp skill in haircutting, color services, waxing, Brazilian blowouts, up-styling for special occasions, and makeup applications. My main focus is the detail in my work and to support my client in understanding how to get that "Salon look" at home with the right tools, products and instruction.

  I'm a laid back person with a big heart. I can genuinely say, I care about the outcome of all things - especially hair. The word passionate is putting it lightly. My heart is put into everything I do. Also, I'm completely obsessed with key lime pie, ketchup, and my husband Jamie Paige.
